“So, do you understand what I mean?” Chen Hui said, “I won’t be able to threaten your position. From now on, let’s mind our own business and be safe and sound. What do you think?”

Jiang Bihan raised her eyes and looked at Chen Hui as if she wanted to see Chen Hui’s true intentions from her expression.

Chen Hui calmly let her look. She was so sincere.

Jiang Bihan finally said, “Bihan understands Lady Chen’s meaning.”

Chen Hui looked at Jiang Bihan and waited for her to continue. However, Jiang Bihan didn’t continue.

Chen Hui suddenly realized that she shouldn’t push the kind of women with Jiang Bihan’s style too much. So, she got up and said, “I have said everything that I should say. You can think about it. Take good care of yourself. I’ll go back first.”

Jiang Bihan didn’t stop Chen Hui and the latter went out. The air outside was fresher than in the room. She took a deep breath and her mood became better.

Li Sancai was held by Qingshu. She and Xiao Tiao were standing outside. Seeing that Chen Hui came out, Qingshu entered the room. Perhaps, she was afraid that Chen Hui had done something bad.

Chen Hui didn’t mind. She returned to Chrysanthemum Yard with Xiao Tiao and Xiao Wu in a good mood. Jiang Bihan was no fool and should understand how correct her words were. It was the best choice for everyone to live in peace. She was not really Li Youde’s woman, so why should she fight for him?!

Chen Hui’s thoughts of going out of the residence was very strong. However, thinking that she had just reached a consensus with Li Youde, she felt that it wasn’t right to be too ostentatious. So, she planned to be obedient for a few days before going out to play.

That night Li Youde slept in the palace as usual and didn’t return. Chen Hui didn’t deliberately wait for him, so, she slept very comfortably.

Another day had passed. In the afternoon, when Chen Hui was drawing the design draft in the side room, she heard the sound of footsteps outside. Li Youde immediately yelled, “Get out of here, useless thing!”

Chen Hui quietly went to door and looked out. She only saw everyone kneeling in yard and the people were trembling and too afraid to move. The door of the main room was closed tightly and she couldn’t see what was going on inside. The next moment, there was sounds of things being smashed coming from there.

Chen Hui hurriedly retracted her body and stayed quiet like a chicken in the side room with Xiao Tiao. It was certainly not a small matter for it to make Li Youde so furious. It was better for her to stay here peacefully and not be a cannon fodder.

Chen Hui wanted to be peaceful, but someone refused to let her be peaceful.

Ah Da came over and knocked on the door. He saw that Chen Hui just opened a crack. She only stuck her head out and whispered, “What’s the matter?”

Ah Da held a washbasin in his left hand and a small bottle was lying in the palm of his right hand. He said to Chen Hui with a not so good expression, “Lady Chen, lord is injured. Please go help him apply medication.”

Chen Hui subconsciously asked, “Why don’t you do it?” She looked at Ah Da full of hostility. This was filling her with gunfire. She was not stupid, so, she won’t do it.

Ah Da hesitated and said, “It…it is what lord wants.”

Chen Hui humphed once, “Quickly stop talking nonsense. Lord is angry now, how could he specifically let me…”

“Lady Chen!”

A shout came from the main room.

In a split second, Ah Da smiled. On the other hand, Chen Hui had an expression that looked like her mother had died…She had forgotten her ability of being a crow’s beak again!

Ah Da hurriedly pushed the washbasin into Chen Hui’s hand. His face relaxed a lot, “Lady Chen, lord is calling for you. Quickly go!”

Chen Hui looked at that beaming with smile face of Ah Da and wanted to kick him. In the end, she suppressed the urge and asked, “What happened to lord? Why is he so angry?”

Ah Da didn’t conceal it, sighed and whispered, “He was scolded by the emperor and his forehead was broken by a tea cup.”

Who would dare to dodge the tea cup that the emperor threw out in anger?

Chen Hui also sighed. Just as she was about to say something, Li Youde’s voice came from the main room again, “Lady Chen!”

Chen Hui had to run to the main room holding the washbasin. Unexpectedly, someone tripped her and she stumbled on the ground.

Chen Hui was naturally not someone who would stumble out of nowhere like this. She clearly saw that when she ran past the people who were kneeling, someone who was kneeling suddenly stretched out his leg and she stumbled because she wasn’t able to dodge it.
