Chapter 95 Liar (2)
Li Youde looked once at her. What misunderstanding could there be? It is something that everyone is well aware of. Why does she have to ask?
“No,” Li Youde said.
Things seemed to be back to square one. However, Chen Hui had a vague understanding. Perhaps, it has something to do with her restraint during this period? Li Youde said, “I will let someone inform you.”
Chen Hui said, “This Lady Chen will wait for lord’s return.”
Li Youde looked once at her and said nothing in the end.
They arrived at the entrance of Li residence in such a cold state. Chen Hui got out of the carriage. She looked back, but the door of the carriage was already closed.
She sighed and walked in silently. Her sprain was almost healed after this period of rest. Walking was fine. Xiao Tiao and the others got the news of the army’s early return. So, they waited at the gate of the residence ahead of time. They were happy to see Chen Hui and came up to her and chattered continuously.
Chen Hui was also very happy to see Xiao Tiao, Xiao Wu and Xiao Liu. Her mood finally improved a lot. The group happily returned to the residence.
Xiao Tiao helped Chen Hui change. She changed from the little monkey to the little beauty in her prime.
It was noon when Chen Hui came back. The food of a remote place like Jianbei couldn’t be compared to the food in the capital. She felt that she had lost a lot of weight since she left the capital for more than two months. She was determined to eat more to make up for it.

Xiao Wu came over at dinner time. Someone from the palace came to say that lord would be back around wushi (7 pm-9 pm). Chen Hui made an oh sound, showing a lack of interest. However, after dinner, Chen Hui had someone bring her hot water to give herself a fragrant wash. She casually put on her coat, pulled Xiao Tiao, asked Xiao Tiao to look at her underwear and asked her which one looked good.
Xiao Tiao was a bit stunned and asked, “Lady, you are…”
Chen Hui said solemnly, “I’m going to climb the bed later.”
Xiao Tiao, “…Ah?”
Chen Hui chose one she liked, quickly changed and put on her coat again. She looked at Xiao Tiao and said, “Xiao Tiao, I need you to do me a little favor.”

Xiao Wu was a bit surprised, “But…lord will be back soon.”
Xiao Tiao felt a guilty conscience. She lowered her eyes and whispered, “Lady Chen said she couldn’t help from wanting to go to sleep.”
Xiao Wu also had no other way but to remind Xiao Liu and Xiao Jiu to keep their voice low.
Xiao Tiao stood outside for a while. Seeing that the people in the yard were gradually disappearing, she immediately knocked on the door of the side room.
The door opened and Chen Hui stuck her head out. Seeing that the yard was quiet she gave Xiao Tiao a thumbs up. She immediately opened the door more and sneaked into the main room.
Xiao Tiao watched Chen Hui’s back disappear behind the door with some worry. She turned and returned to the side room.
After some time, a string of lanterns came from the outside.
Hearing the movement outside, Xiao Wu immediately came out. Seeing that Li Youde got back, he hurriedly went to greet him and said, “Congratulating lord for returning to the residence!”
He raised his head a bit but saw that Li Youde was staring at the unlit side room. He hurriedly said, “Answering lord, just now Xiao Tiao said that Lady Chen is tired and will rest first. It has been a while now.” He paused and asked cautiously, “Do you want this little one to go wake Lady Chen up?”
“No need!” Li Youde snorted coldly and strode towards the main room. Who said to wait for him to come back?! Liar! Now she didn’t even want to coax him anymore! He didn’t know why he rushed back!
Li Youde entered the main room with a cold look on his face. He let someone light the lamp and went to take a bath, but the sullenness still didn’t go away. He doesn’t do anything when she causes trouble. What is the difference between this and looking after an ancestor?!
Li Youde drove everyone out. He sat in the outer room for a moment before going to the inner room. There was only a candle lit inside and the light was dim. When he sat on the bed, he realized that something was wrong.
How come…there was a bulge in his quilt?
Li Youde’s heart skipped a beat. He was just about to call someone when the quilt was lifted, revealing Chen Hui’s beautiful face. She sat up and complained slightly, “Lord, why did you only come back now? This Lady Chen almost fell asleep.”
Li Youde took a step back in shock. He was a bit surprised for a while. After a while, he noticed that her black hair was falling down on her shoulder. The snow-white middle clothes became messily because of her laying down on the bed. The front clothes were slightly open, revealing a corner of the pink undergarments.
“Why…why are you here?” Li Youde turned his eyes away and took a step back.
Chen Hui said, “It’s cold nowadays. The bed is very cold. It is not good if lord catches a cold. This Lady Chen has already warmed the bed for lord. Lord, quickly come in and sleep.”
Li Youde didn’t move, glared at Chen Hui and said, “Who made you warm the bed?”
“No one. This Lady Chen thought that by myself,” Chen Hui moved a bit in the bed, “Lord, aren’t you coming up?”
Li Youde’s thoughts were messy for a moment. Juat now, he thought that she didn’t even want to coax him and now she had actually run to his bed?! What is this? Knowing that she went overboard these past few days and planning to make up?
“Get out,” Li Youde said.
Chen Hui looked at Li Youde and didn’t move.
After being in a stalemate for a while, Li Youde’s tone softened slightly, “I don’t need you to warm the bed. Return to your room and have a good rest. Don’t catch a cold yourself.” She was at least willing to please him like this and he also should stop his behavior.
Chen Hui looked at Li Youde. After a while, she lowered her gaze and said, “Lord, this Lady Chen has something to tell lord.”
Li Youde was in a hurry to let Chen Hui go back. So, he hurriedly said, “Just speak.”
Chen Hui stared at the quilt and whispered, “I know that lord may not believe what I have to say…But if I don’t say it, lord will have more ill feelings towards me. I have to give it a try.” She paused for a while. Although she was a bit embarrassed to say those words, she still got all her courage, looked at Li Youde and said more seriously than before, “I like lord, the kind of a woman likes a man.”
