As Ming Long said after the sad times happy times will come. I was really happy these past few days. When I’m happy there’s bound to be someone unhappy. Consort De kept playing little tricks. Even though I don’t like her I felt pity for her. Women of the emperor are bound to live a life like that. Seeing her is like seeing how my life could’ve been. I’m just lucky that I found love with the emperor. How many women can be like me in these times?

Some happy times for Xuan Chen and An Ning.
It’s not that I don’t know what happens in the palace. I just want to run away from it. Since knowing that Xuan Chen is the emperor, I’ve been really afraid. My father wants a puppet king but I saw Xuan Chen’s look. He’s not someone to be a puppet. My father miscalculated his step this time. What do I do to prevent them from killing each other? The best way will be not to get pregnant. Xuan Chen’s life will be in danger if I get a boy.
