Chapter 68 You are my everything (2)

At Qiansui’s residence the two people kissed each other for a long time. Lin Qing’s rare enthusiasm made Zhao Zimu a bit awkward. She pushed aside the few strands of hairs that fell from his temple to behind his ears. A ray of affection slipped through the eyes looking at Lin Qing.

“Why are you so assertive today?” Zhao Zimu played with his hair on one side. Lin Qing didn’t answer. Instead, his face turned a bit cold. He untied her belt and asked, “Afraid?”

Zhao Zimu allowed his actions on her body. She leaned on him to make it easier for him. Then, she thought seriously for a while and said, “A little bit.”

Lin Qing’s action turned fierce and he said coldly, “So, you were not afraid before? Or was it that you didn’t care? Or did you not care enough?!”

There was anger and panic in his voice that couldn’t be concealed. It was impossible for her not the know the seriousness of this case. If, if he wasn’t able to save her, she might’ve lost her life!

But she still didn’t take it to heart. She didn’t even care enough about her own life. Did she ever think about him?! Or is it that she didn’t care about what would happened to him if she was gone?

Lin Qing was upset. He didn’t know what she was thinking about. Was everything she said to him lies? Was she lying to him all the time? But why did she have to lie to him? Could it be that she wanted to get something from him? He would give her whatever she wanted, why did she lie to him?

Lin Qing was restless, full of doubts, sad and fearful. The ugliness in the deepest part of his heart that seemed to have been smoothed by Zhao Zimu, appeared again and used his fear to hoot insolently, revealing his secret and weakness not to be divulged to anyone.

Looking at Lin Qing’s expression change from anger, to suspicion, to fear, to restlessness and to fragility, Zhao Zimu who was leaning on his body, looked at him and her expression became expressionless. Suddenly, two streams of things felt down wordlessly; she cried…

She was crying silently. It was not because of sadness, but because she suddenly felt weak.

Who in the world would care so much about her? From the day she knew what happiness and anger were, her parents had taught her what indifference was. After her mother left, she had learned what loneliness was. When everyone ignored her, she understood what being strong and weak was.

She lived as an outsider of everyone. She didn’t know what the purpose of her being alive was. Therefore, she went out to travel at a young age. Her martial arts were not great. So, she grew up being bullied and slaughtered.

She had also once thought about massacring her family because of resentment. No matter how she searched bewilderedly and vented her loneliness, this world had nothing to do with her.

Hence, she met the death so easily in her previous life. Because she had lived enough, so, she didn’t mind being alive or dead.

She originally wanted to pay off her debts this lifetime, but something had changed. Unknowingly, she had put this person in her heart.

No one had cared so much about her. She had also never discovered that there was such a person in her heart. Her heart was no longer absolutely empty with loneliness that caused people to become agitated.

She thinks that she had found it. He is the purpose of her living in this world.

Zhao Zimu’s expression seemed to have been cracked. Tears spread all over her face like a sudden flood; wantonly and without any qualms.

Lin Qing was stunned. He immediately forgot about everything when he saw the person in front of him cry. He immediately reached out to touch her face. He had never seen such a Zhao Zimu. The person who no one was able to see through suddenly cried, making him panic. However, there was also the feeling that the person in front of him suddenly came to life. He used to think that this person became livelier because of him, but now it is completely different.

She is now completely alive. Moreover, it was the world that only he could touch. He didn’t know whether he should be happy now or cry with her…

He was completely at loss about what to do. He had to say anxiously, “Don’t, don’t cry. You…” At this moment, he had completely forgotten about the ways how to coax others that he had cultivated for many years in the palace. He could only look at her at loss.

After Zhao Zimu had cried enough, she didn’t cry anymore. The repressed emotions and loneliness of the past many years, all disappeared without exception and her heart had been fully filled by the person in front of her.

She gently took his hand and suddenly smiled mischievously at Lin Qing. the smile didn’t match her coldness and brilliance. She said to him, “What did you say just now? I have forgotten.”

“…I have also forgotten.” You cried for so long, I have long forgotten…

“Then, why were you angry just now?”

“…Don’t know.” I already said that I have forgotten!

“Then, it should be because of you that I cried.”

“…” Really? That also seemed pretty good…

“Then, shouldn’t you make some compensation?”

“…” What compensation?

“Lie down.”

“…” Zhao Zimu!

Lin Qing who came to the realization was ashamed and annoyed. Zhao Zimu quickly, accurately and gently dropped a kiss on his forehead. It was like a butterfly landing on a flower; gentle and soft.

Lin Qing became quiet again because this action was cherished.

No matter what, this person is back. Now, he only wanted to feel her presence.

The two entangled with each other again with pouring affection.

“Only you are my everything in this world.” Zhao Zimu whispered to Lin Qing who was lost in love.

You are my everything.

  1. “Why are you so initiative today”
    I think it should be:

“Why are you so assertive today?”

Because you can’t initiative. You can ‘initiate’ or ‘take initiative’ / ‘taking initiative’

    🙂

  2. Well, I suppose you could “initiative” in the right context, but it sounds a bit wierd here to me.

Sorry if I came across as a grammar Nazi before. I teach small kids literacy and it’s a habit to overexplain. I realised I came of as rude before, so I wanted to apologise.

I really love this story and am thankful you translated all of it 🙂
